         Got Questions?

Q. How often should I expect to attend sessions?

A. It varies with each program (martial arts, fitness, physical therapy, athletes) and the clients current physical status, experience and how much time they want to invest in their goals. As a general rule, the following would be expected.

Self-defense programs
Training in martial arts strictly for real world self-defense applications should be taken slowly, thoroughly and carefully. It's a very serious subject that should not be taken lightly.

For beginning students (no prior experience) enrolled in private instruction I would recommend at 2 lessons per week to start. However, that again is all relative to (time invested, availability, how well you're responding to the information being taught). We like to ensure the client is progressing correctly and optimally, then we make any adjustments, if needed from there.

Mixed Martial Arts programs
These programs are less broad in scope then martial arts for self-defense applications. Anyone can participate in these as much as they want because there is less detail on personal skills in the beginning, and more emphasis on the fitness aspect.

The MMA programs are designed to cover only the martial arts subjects for sport applications, simply to include focusing on the strength endurance factor that must be included in competitive combat sports . But again its all relative to the individuals goals and time they want to invest.

Fitness programs

Depends on what type of fitness program the client is on.  Whether the client perfers In Person training versus Online. (Physical therapy, corrective exercise of an imbalanced or injured body can take a some time to decode, e.g).
For clients enrolled in private instruction I would recommend starting at least 2-3 to sessions per week and then we assess from there once we bio-hack the most important goals first. This is going to be based upon on their fitness levels along with functional screenings and goals.

Q. What equipment should I bring?

A. Any comfortable athletic clothing and comfortable shoes, (we recommend thin soles). Each class is different and requires specific equipment. Please refer back to specific page for any required equipment.
