MMA ground and pound techniques and tactics are often very ineffective in my opinion due the sloppy striking selection fighters choose. Many fighters who pin their opponent on their back and achieve the mount position fail to rain down effective strikes in which the person on the bottom reaches their arms outward in desperate need of defense only to scramble and escape back to their feet. Fighters struggle to punch through a guard position (arms) that is impeding specific attack
lines because that lack an important skill called "trapping hands". In this video tutorial I share an in depth skillset on how to dominate the popular BJJ mount position with hardly any chance of escape.
